Bangalore city goes to polls on March 28, 2010 and citizen are enthusiastic towards casting their votes. Contestants and NGOs are busy in campaigning modes like publicity material, announcements, radio and TV announcements, public meetings, rallies and door-to-door campaigning with handbills and pamphlets. The contestants especially those who have opted for the social networking sites comes one step forward by campaign through SMS or social networking sites. Voting is your right and you must cast your vote.

For many, election means a day of holiday and they think that voting is sheer waste of time as all the politicians are the same. But you have to know one thing, voting a right candidates can bring change and for this voters have to know the list of candidates or contestants participating in your ward.   • Ward: 34-Gangenahalli on March 24 (Wed), 5pm at Staff institute, DGQA Residential Complex near Para School, Mekhri School,Opp. HQ training command, airforce, Bangalore- 560032

  • Ward 6: Thanisandra on March 24 (Wed), 4:30pm at Kenneth George English School, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar.

In order to vote,your name must be on the voter list. You can run an effective door-to-door campaign in your own society / neighborhood to bring change.Knock the door of each registered voter in your society / Polling Booth area and ensure that all your neighbors go out and vote in this elections. On the day of election, Volunteer to assist those with disabilities or transportation issues get to the polls.
